1. The product. Snippet Vault is local software: an MCP server, web UI, and CLI that store reusable code snippets on your own machine. We never receive or store your snippets.

2. License. Purchasing a subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on up to 3 machines while your subscription is active. Snippet Vault is proprietary software; the distributed build includes license enforcement. Your saved snippets remain your property and stay on your machine.

3. Free trial. A one-time 14-day trial is available per person/machine. Creating multiple trials is a breach of these terms.

4. Billing. Subscriptions are prepaid: monthly ($10) or yearly ($79). They do not auto-renew. Your license works fully offline after activation until its expiry date.

5. Refunds. See our refund policy.

6. No warranty. The software is provided "as is". We are not liable for data loss — back up your snippet library (it lives in ~/.snippet-vault).
