Your snippets never leave your machine. The tool is local-first: all folders and snippets are stored as plain files under ~/.snippet-vault on your computer. There is no sync, no telemetry, and no code-reading service.

What our license server sees (only when you activate a license or start a trial): your email address, a one-way hashed device fingerprint, and the license key. That is the complete list. We use it solely to enforce licenses and one-time trials.

Payments are processed by our payment provider (merchant of record), who handles your card/PayPal details — we never see them.

Deleting your data: remove ~/.snippet-vault to erase everything locally; email us to have your license record removed from the server.
